Oregon’s weather is affected greatly by the Pacific Ocean. The Pacific Ocean makes the western side of the state more temperate and moist than the central and eastern areas which contain desert areas. Homeowners here would have to be mindful of the changes in temperature and the arid conditions in the southeast.
